Adisa Sefic is a Bosnian American artist who grew up in Hayward, CA. Adisa Sefic has been an artist for many years. This artist is appearing in Fine Art with a double major in Graphic Design and Illustration with a degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts) and BFA at California State University, East Bay (CSUEB). Sefic is a graphic designer with experience in children’s books, package design, web design, brochure design, style guides, and advertisements. Often, her art reflects the colors and nature of imaginary figures and fantasy environments. Through her designs, paintings, and drawings, Sefic discovers new avenues for creative exploration. Sefic exhibits in the Fine Art sphere include the City of Hayward, CA, and the Sun Gallery (Hayward Planet, summer 2019). Previously, her work was featured in a juried professional exhibit at the Sun Gallery in Hayward, with Alta Bates purchasing one of her pieces. She enjoys creating pictures that feature natural landscapes with people and animals. She loves creating children’s books with fantasy and imaginary stories. Adisa was also at the CSUEB Art Gallery Exhibit in the summer of 2020. Adisa also loves making traditional paintings, landscapes, and children’s stories. She currently focuses on Graphic Design, Illustration, and Fine Art. Her work is in the Alta Bates Hospital collection in Berkeley, CA. She graduated with a double major in a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program from California State University, East Bay (CSUEB).
She prefers media watercolor, colored pencils, and black/white pencils. She has experienced other forms of art, including digital art. Adisa has experience using Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign. She works with various Children’s books while also focusing on building up her portfolio and gaining more experience in Graphic Design.
